- We are looking for Childcare Leaders and Assistants to join our team and support us to provide the highest quality childcare service, supporting children aged 2 - 13 years old to reach their educational and social skill goals. The ideal candidates for this position will have a passion for PLAY and be able to provide ample opportunities (set up games and activities) to support learning and development of primary school aged children. The successful candidate will be able to create engaging play sessions, evaluate activities for levels of engagement as well as their educational and social benefits, and provide feedback to the Directors. A successful Childcare Practitioner (Leader, Apprentice, Assistant) will also have a sound knowledge of safeguarding and child protection (all training is provided)
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group instruction to children.
- Assess activities and provide feedback.
- Develop individualised learning plans for children in the Early Years age groups.
- Create Play Programmes that are tailored to the children's needs and interests.
- Maintain a positive play and learning environment for the children.
- Be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and Directors.
- Keep up to date with childcare policy and best practices.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months
